Plant Genetics Researcher (reference JB- 1)
Job Description: Researcher in a plant trait improvement research team. The position includes conducting and managing various research studies and activities under the scope of gene discovery. It involves work with a multi-disciplinary group (bioinformatics, molecular lab, transformation, and agronomy), handling of large range of scientific studies, managing research on different plant species populations, establishing research work-plans and accompanying their execution according to the set schedules.

Job Description: The researcher will be part of the Business Development team. Job Description: Head Breeder for developing novel feedstock for the Biofuel industry. Managing the breeding activity of Evofuel, aimed at breeding advanced varieties of biofuel crops, such as castor bean.
Role requirements include: Determining, managing and monitoring multi - year research & development breeding plans in various geographic locations, for various crops (annual work-plans, execution, reporting). Management of a professional breeding team, and development of agronomic practices together with the agronomic team.
Job includes trips abroad to field sites.Requirements: Previous work as a breeder, knowledge of diverse breeding methods and approaches, preferably in a management position.
Experience in working overseas preferred.
