The offering of 5 million ordinary shares prices at US$14.75 per share
Rehovot, Israel, November 21, 2013 – Evogene Ltd. (TASE: EVGN) today announced the pricing of its initial public offering in the U.S. of 5 million ordinary shares at a price of US$14.75 per share. In connection with the offering, Evogene has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 750,000 additional ordinary shares at the same price per share. As part of the offering, one of the company’s shareholders, Monsanto Company, has agreed to purchase 813,560 ordinary shares at the initial public offering price, amounting to approximately US$12 million.
The shares are expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “EVGN” on November 21, 2013. The offering is expected to close on November 26, 2013.
