Harnessing the power of plants to sustainably produce high-value proteins for the food industry, Finally Foods is at the forefront of molecular farming. Leveraging access to Evogene’s GeneRator AI tech engine, the company modifies plants to express functional proteins such as casein, a key dairy component, using the potato plant as a natural bioreactor. Co-founding the company, a seasoned entrepreneur and Evogene’s former VP of R&D collaborated with The Kitchen FoodTech Hub (TKH) by the Strauss Group.
-
Crop4Clima Consortium
-
Evogene has partnered with the Max Planck Institute in the Crop4Clima Consortium funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe EIC Pathfinder program, to develop resilient crops, including canola and rapeseed, that thrive under arid conditions, are heat resistant, sequester more carbon, and feature other improved traits for the benefit of farmers and the environment.. Empowering farmers with cost-effective, high-performing crops, with improved and predictable yields, it increases food production without compromising nutritional value, supports growth on marginal lands, and contributes to climate change mitigation and global food security.
Together, We Drive Real-World Innovation
